Im 21er Haus findet derzeit die Ausstellung 

Fotos -  Österreichische Fotografien von den 1930ern bis heute statt.
Fotos sind heutzutage nicht mehr wegzudenken 

und genauso unterschiedlich sie uns im täglichen Leben begegnen, 

wirken sie auch bei dieser Ausstellung auf den Betrachter.
Im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung stehen der Mensch,
die Dingen die ihn umgeben und natürlich die Fotografie selbst.
Bei den gezeigten Fotos geht es um eine Reduktion auf das Wesentliche.

Die Motive stehen im Zentrum und man kann ihre Präsenz förmlich spüren.

Eine Führung halte ich für empfehlenswert,
weil es sonst schwer ist einen Zusammenhang zwischen den Fotos herzustellen.

The curent exhebition in the 21er Haus is
Photos - Austrian photographs from the 1930s until today.
Photos are today everywhere
and as different they are in everyday life
they also have a different effect at this exhibition on the viewer.
The exhibition focuses on the human being,
the things that surround him and of course the photography itself.

The showed photos contains a reduction to the essentials.
The motives are at the center and you really can feel their presence.
 
I think a guide is recommended,
because it is otherwise difficult to make a connection between the photos.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Piet Mondrian, 

(eigentlich Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan, 7 März 1872 - 1 Februar 1944) 

war ein niederländischer Maler der klassischen Moderne.
Er gilt als einer der wichtigsten Vertreter des niederländischen Konstruktivismus und gelangte nach langem Experimentieren, 

Anfang der 1920er Jahre zu einer Ausdrucksweise, 

die er den Neoplastizismus nannte.
Zu beginn seiner künstlerischen Karriere,

malte er noch im Stil der Impressionisten.
Seine Gemälde können als ein Spiel 

mit reduziertem Vokabular von Bildelementen gesehen werden, 

die nicht einfach etwas bezeichnen, 

sondern als sie selber wahrgenommen werden wollen.
Bei dieser klassischen Bildform, handelt es sich um Linien und Flächen, Horizontale und Vertikale und den Primärfarben.

 
Ich liebe seine Gemälde sehr,
weil ich finde, dass eine positive Energie von den Gemälden ausgeht
und sie einen lebendigen Rhythmus in sich bergen.
(In Amsterdam hatte ich das Glück einige seiner Werke zu sehen)

Piet Mondrian,

(actually, Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan, 7 March 1872 - February 1, 1944)
was a Dutch painter of classical modernism.
He is considered as one of the most important representatives 

of the Dutch Constructivism and came after much experimentation,

 in the early 1920s to a mode of expression, 

which he called the Neoplasticism.
At the beginning of his artistic career,
he still painted in the style of the Impressionists.
His paintings can be seen as a game

with a reduced vocabulary of picture elements,
that not simply describe something,
but want to be perceived as themselves.
In this classic picture form, are lines and planes, horizontal and vertical,  

and the primary colors.

I love his paintings,
because I think that a positive energy is emanating from them
and they held in themselves a lively rhythm.
(In Amsterdam, I had the good fortune to see some of his works)

Kunst & Antiquitäten Messe / Fine Art & Antiques Fair

Die Kunst & Antiquitäten Messe im Künstlerhaus, 

findet noch bis 10 März statt 

und ist ein muss für alle Kunstsammler und Kunstinteressierte.

Vierzig renommierte Galeristen, Antiquitäten- und Kunsthändler,
stellen Gemälde und Zeichnungen vom 16. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert, 

Mobiliar, Schmuck, Teppiche und Kleinkunst aus.

Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Sonderausstellungen der Galerien:

 Kopriva (Hubert Fischlhammer), 

Weihergut-Linzergasse (Heribert Mader) 

Szaal (Paris: ein Ausgangspunkt - zwei Künstler - zwei Lebenswege)

Hier werden in einer Retrospektive ausgewählte Werke 

von Soshana und Hans Staudacher gegenüberstellt.

 Beide sind Vertreter des österreichischen Informel 

und sind auch auf dem internationalen Markt vertreten.

Soshanas Gemälde sind emotional und drücken inneres Erleben aus. 

Es sind sehr farbenfrohe Gemälde, die positive Energien in sich bergen.

Ab der zweiten Hälfte der 50er Jahre,

 lassen sich zunehmend kalligraphische Elemente feststellen, 

die man auf ihre Asienreise 1957 zurückführen kann,  

bei der sie sich inspirieren ließ.

Hans Staudachers Werke strahlen Spontanität aus, 

was dadurch verstärkt wird, 

dass er Farbe und andere bildnerische Materialien ungebunden einsetzt. 

Der Arbeitsprozess unterliegt keinen Regeln 

und folgt den Prozessen des Unbewussten.

Mit seinen kalligraphischen Notizen,
schafft er eine freie, neue Realität 

und wurde zu einem der wichtigsten Vertreter informeller Kunst in Österreich.

Freiheit des Raumes, Freiheit des Geistes 

– und es ist sehr wichtig, dass wir uns das erhalten!"

Das Ziel der informellen Kunst, die ihren Ursprung in Paris hat,
ist die Befreiung von gedanklichen und visuellen Assoziationen.
Es wird als die zweite Phase der abstrakten Kunst gesehen 

und zeichnet sich dadurch aus, 

dass die Malerie in ein lyrisches, formloses Spannungsfeld gesetzt wird.

In der künstlerischen Produktion zählen Formlosigkeit und Spontanität 

und die Werke die entstehen sind gegenstandslos und nicht geometrisch.

Die Messe hat mir sehr gut gefallen,
weil sie so abwechslungsreich ist.

Man sieht sehr viele unterschiedliche Exponate 

verschiedener Stilrichtungen.
Ich habe zwar keine Kunstwerke mit nach Hause genommen,
aber dafür viele tolle Eindrücke.


Fine Art & Antiques Fair in the Künstlerhaus,
will be held until March 10 and is a must see 

for all art collectors and art enthusiasts.

Forty renowned galleries, antique and art dealers
present paintings and drawings from the 16th to 21 Century,
furniture, jewelery, carpets and small art.
A highlight are the special exhibitions of the galleries:

Here are compared in a retrospective a selection of works

Hans Staudacher´s works radiate spontaneity,
which is reinforced by the fact,
that he uses color and other visual materials unbound.
The work process is not subject to rules
and follows the processes of the unconscious.
With his calligraphic notes,
he creates a free, new reality
and became one of the most important representatives
of informal art in Austria.

The goal of informal art, which has its origins in Paris,
is the liberation of the human mind and visual associations.
It is seen as the second phase of abstract art
and is characterized by the fact,
that it´s painting, that is set in a lyrical, formless tension.
In artistic production informality and spontaneity count
and the result are works that are irrelevant and not geometrically.

The fair was great,
because it is so multifarious.
I saw a lot of different exhibits
and different styles.
I haven´t taken any art home indeed,
but many great impressions.

Abstrakt Malen fühlt sich für mich nach Freiheit an.

Keine Gedanken, kein Stress, keine Sorgen.

Ich kann vollkommen in meinem Tun aufgehen und abschalten.

In dem Moment des Malens, scheint alles weit weg und wie schwerelos zu sein.

 Nur der Pinsel, der über die Leinwand gleitet und seine Spuren hinterlässt,

ist noch wahrnehmbar.

Abstract painting is for me a feeling of freedom.
No thoughts, no stress, no worries.
I can switch off completely and rise in my actions.
In the moment of painting, everything seems far away and weightless.
Only the brush that slides across the screen and leaves its traces,
is still perceptible.
